The much awaited Phablet – Samsung Galaxy Note 8 likely to unveil in the Unpacked Event

There is still an enormous amount of mystery that is surrounding the upcoming iPhone 8 however, Samsung’s new flagship, the Galaxy Note 8 seems to be an open book for everyone at this point in time. The company is so excited that it didn’t even refrain from unveiling that it’s going to be launched in September.

According to what Branex came to know earlier through well sourced rumors, Samsung’s new Galaxy Note 8 will be featuring all the cutting edge specs that any tech savvy user could expect from a high end phablet in 2017. The highlights include a 6.3 inch super amoled display with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. Adorning a 6GB RAM, an Exynos 8895 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset depending on region with a dual 12mp rear cameras all packed to perform fully, powered by a 3,300 mAh battery and an S Pen stylus. The battery however seem to be a down grade from the Note 7 and S8 +, both of which sport a 3500 mAh version. Probably due to the explosion saga that occurred with Note 7, but nothing can be claimed with confirmation yet.

What we also came to know is that the Note 8 might also sport a screen-to-body ratio which makes it even more impressive than the 83% achieved by the Galaxy S8 and S8+. One of the hottest trends in the smartphone design for 2017 is Tiny Bezels and so far Samsung is leading the rack among top-tier smartphone vendors globally with it. It might even change this summer when Apple will finally unveil the iPhone 8, but as for now its Samsung that is certainly in the limelight and leading.

The smartphone users market is getting chokingly saturated and to keep its position of being a top tier smart phone manufacturer, Samsung will have to impress its users, also because Samsung would definitely want to have the users erase the bad memories related to the last year’s Note 7 debacle. As for now, we think Galaxy Note 8 will do the trick, as to what it looks from now.

Jokes aside but Galaxy Note 8 is definitely one of the most anticipated smartphones of the year. And now we have our exclusive renders that give us the best look yet at the Samsung’s best ever mobile phone yet.

Samsung’s next, Unpacked event is scheduled in August and all signs point to it bringing the Galaxy Note 8 in front of the public. The phablet release is seem to have line up with the big show.

Unpacked is to be held on August 23, 2017 in the New York City, probably a week ahead of the IFA tech show in Berlin, Where the company released the first version of the phablet long time back in 2011.

Some time back, there was a speculation that Samsung is planning to wipe out the SKU altogether, but before the explosion saga, the SKU was one of the company’s flagship and among the most selling variants across the globe. But after the speculations circulating of the unveiling of Note 8, the company is expected to charge a premium price for it. Around $900 for an unlocked version of the phone.

An Infinity Display and Bixby (which, as of this week, finally includes voice commands) seem like pretty safe bets, too. After all, the company loves consistency across the Galaxy line. Though, with just a 0.1-inch difference in screen size, Samsung may have a tough time differentiating the perennial favorite device from the new Plus addition to the Galaxy line — beyond the inclusion of the S-Pen, of course. Hopefully the company’s still has some tricks up its sleeve, while managing to not fly too close to the sun this time around. Whatever the case may be, we’ll be on-hand at the NYC event, watching it unfold live. We at Branex are looking forward anxiously to the release of this technological marvel and hope to see some advanced and complimenting mobile app development techniques arising with its launch. Let’s hope for the best!
